Have you lost your administrator password? You are not comfortable with resetting the password through phpMyAdmin or through e-mail? This is the tool for you. It automatically discovers the administrator username for your application and changes its password to the one you specify. The tool currently supports the following applications:

- Mambo

- Joomla 1.0.xx

- Joomla 1.5.x

- CRE Loaded

- OS Commerce

- Zen Cart

- WordPress

Usage:

Download the tool from the following link:

Password Reset Tool ver. 1.0

Upload it to your application folder via FTP or any file manager software your hosting company provides. Then access it with your web browser. For example, if you have Joomla installation accessible on

http://mydomainname.tld/

then the tool will be accessed on:

http://mydomainname.tld/reset.php

Enter the new password in the text field and click on the button next to it. That is pretty much it Cool! The tool will automatically remove itself upon successful password reset, in order to prevent security risks.
